El equipo Le贸n 馃 (2019), se reuni贸 esta noche para comenzar los preparativos de cara a este verano espectacular que nos espera en tierras leonesas. Estuvimos Israel Fernando , Sarah Grauvogl, Ollin Garc铆a Pliego , y los ex integrantes del equipo docente, Megan Di Bartolomeo y Mark Fitzsimmons. Ma帽ana ser谩 un d铆a espectacular de orientaci贸n, y estamos muy ansiosos de conocer a todos nuestros alumnos y a sus familias.

Today was the first day in the classroom at the student-instructor orientation. We went over some of the rules and expectations from the program. Additionally, the students had the opportunity to ask questions about the program. We look forward to starting classes on Friday!

Segovia and Madrid

Last Saturday, July 20, the Instructors and students left Le贸n at 6:30 am, after some minutes of saying good bye to their host families. After a three-hour ride, wemade it to Segovia, where we visited the Acueducto, the Plaza Mayor, and the downtown area, with a wonderful local guide who explained the local history. Later, that day, we took the bus and made it safely to Madrid, where we spent Sunda, July 21, doing a walking tour of the city, and visiting its most important museums, Museo Nacional del Prado, and Centro de Arte Reina Sof铆a.

Alumni Visit to Le贸n’s Academy!

Happy 4 of July to all! Today, Oliver, Le贸n’s program alumni, who studied in Leon during the summer of 2012, came to the Academy. He has visited Leon four times to see his host family, since they have been in touch after 7 years! Oliver gave a talk to our students and shared his experience. Students asked him plenty of questions!
