Welcome to the IUHPFL Spanish immersion experience in Leon, Spain, for the summer of 2019! Sarah TeKolste, Sarah Grauvogl, Israel Fernando, and Ollin García Pliego look forward to welcoming you during orientation.

Additionally, this space aims to provide information about important dates and resources as you prepare for your trip to Leon in June. Also, as the IUHPFL Leon group, this blog will be sharing potographs, videos, and newsletters/chronicles/articles from faculty and students.

Today was the first day in the classroom at the student-instructor orientation. We went over some of the rules and expectations from the program. Additionally, the students had the opportunity to ask questions about the program. We look forward to starting classes on Friday!

These are a few pictures taken during our first meal at Leon, at the local restaurant where we eat daily, called Casablanca. The students have been enjoying delicious traditional Spanish cuisine. ¡ Buen provecho!
